As It Once Was Ffxiv Guide

Be civil. Hello all!I have all crafting sitting at 1 and wish to get it all to 60 now! I have searched for some guides but I cannot see which are out of date and which are not.I have gathered that I should get all trades to 15 first, then 37 in culinarian and last all to 50. Seems like a good plan! How do I go about this? What is the easiest way? I feel lost! Thanks in advance/Aerchion Ghardok - EU CerberusEdit 1: jesus so many answers!!

Thank you to everyone, I will save this information and use it. So happy to be a part of this community!. When doing leves, don't bother with the triple-turnin leves. It's a ridiculous amount of work and you get, at best, the same XP as the single turnins. If you want to maximize your XP per leve, use the 'travel' leves. In each capital, there will be one levequest that sends you somewhere else to turn in.

Set the capital city and the leve destination (it's always the same one for a given level) as favored destinations and just port back and forth. Travel leves give 50% more XP than the others and enough gil to cover your travel costs. The guides that say 'All to 15, then CUL to 37 then CRP to 50' are not wrong, but I prefer to advise leveling them all in roughly five level increments so that they can share gear and you can make your own mid-level mats.

All the crafts need crafted items from other crafts (except CUL, other than a couple of odd circumstances). Your LTW will need ingots made by your BSM. Your CRP will need thread made by your WVR.

Even your ALC will need lumber made by your CRP. If you level all your crafts together they can share all gear and accessories and the only thing you have to worry about is your main and off-hands which, if you are leveling BSM and ARM you can also craft. You get a bonus each time you make a recipe for the first time, and some of those items sell for stupid amounts on the MB. Leveling crafting now is fairly easy, at least to 50. Do your daily GC hand-ins every day, even if you only hand in an NQ item that you bought from an NPC or the MB - it's just free bonus XP. The comments here are all pretty valid and should be considered (and some tips even I'm snagging:D), but leveling all crafters is something I'm also doing so having a bit of a short cut can help get the stress of one class off your shoulders, so here's a speed-run one I tried recently for my alchemist to 50 that worked really well:At lvl25 alchemist you unlock a leve in Quarrymill for Hi-Potions. 5 to turn in, but repeatable (so 15 potions per leve). At lvl40 you unlock a leve quest in Uldah for 3 Max Potions to deliver to Whitebrim. A courier quest, but was worth it IMO.Why these two in particular?

Because POTD throws both these potions at you like it's nothing in HQ form. Market Board also makes it dirt cheap thanks to POTD, or if you have friends/FC mates who get a lot of these potions but don't use them for anything. So thanks to FC mates, MB, + POTD, I went from level 25 alchemist to level 50 in about 2-3 hours just using these two leves. You obviously will need to have quite the leve stack for it but it still speeds it right along.Good luck in your endeavor!.

Got me to 43 but only because that's how many potions I had available at the time (and it's just a short run back and forth - was an excellent way to catch up on some shows since I didn't really need to pay attention;D). I'm not sure how far that one would get you on just that leve alone. Probably the whole way but might take longer since the XP-hand out will decrease the higher your level is, making it more leves per level to turn in.But worth noting, crafting got an xp boost with 3.5 from 1-50, but I don't know if it included leves, so might be something worth checking out?.
